Well, I've done it… I played a show. April 6th at the Ivy Room in Albany, CA. It was a Nashville Writers' Round and I played with several other fabulous musicians. Kirsten Ford put on the show and did a solo set. Lizz Shine, Briget Boyle, and Liani Moore were the other performers. Also, just for added pizzazz we had a sublime drummer, Vicki Randle. A writers' round is where a group of musician takes turns playing songs. We each played a total of three songs. I did “Ain't That Lucky,” “I'm Better Off Without You,” and “My Ghost.” I had a lot of friends and family in the audience from my Moms and brother, to old sorority sisters, someone I met on TikTok, a work friend, and few others. My sorority sister Jen-Jen came in clutch and made me a fan club email list, so I'm basically more famous than the Beatles now.
My only mistake was that I wore an outfit that made it look like I was not wearing anything on the bottom. Oh well, hopefully everyone enjoyed that part of the show.
